Disposable wedding cameras (also called single-use cameras) will never replace a professional photographer, of course. But they could save money on the overall photo budget, provide memorable fun for you and your guests, and occasionally turn up a priceless casual shot.
Disposable low-price wedding cameras are a popular wedding favor at many wedding receptions. These cameras are placed on each wedding guest table, usually accompanied by a printed card encouraging guests to use these cameras throughout the reception to capture unforgettable moments that may be missed by the professional photographer. They also are a wonderful and fun activity for the guests.
While the professional photographer is busy orchestrating beautiful pictures of the wedding party and family, many things are taking place throughout the reception that are well worth capturing on film. Wedding guests may use these cameras just like any other camera, simply point and shoot.
There are a huge variety of choices. Disposable wedding cameras are available in many styles to accommodate just about any wedding theme. Most cameras include Kodak, Fuji or AGFA film with 15 to 27 exposures per camera; 24 exposures is most common. Often you can save even more money by buying cameras in large quantities.
Choosing gifts for any animal lovers can be quite a pleasure, as it is often a gift that is shared by the recipient with her animal friends or pets. This is especially so with bird lover gifts. People who really love birds tend to want them to enhance their gardens, to encourage real wild birds to visit time and again, or even stay for the breeding season.
A gift for a bird lover can therefore be a gift of life, a promotion of nature around the home, visible from the windows or while tending the garden. Encouraging wild birds to their gardens is something that millions do in the northern hemisphere, especially in the winter when many wild birds suffer from food shortages.
At Christmas, cards are commonly adorned by robins, their red breasts contrasting so vividly with the white snow. But that pretty picture can be deceiving, with the harshness of winter depriving the robin and other resident birds of the sustenance and warmth they need to survive until spring. It is that threat that brings out the best in bird lovers through those winter months.
Terrace Gardening And Landscaping Ideas
by: Alexander Sviridov
Terraces present wonderful possibilities in the garden. They are outdoor living rooms during good weather and form a transition from the outdoors to the indoors throughout the year.
The terrace may be either at ground level, below ground level, or raised above it. The simplest type is ground level, which requires only the grading we have indicated. There is a wide choice of flooring materials to use. One may use cement, poured and levelled with a large board, but in maintaining the drainage grade or including shallow drainage paths, smooth turf may be used, in which case the preparation will be the same as for other lawn areas and various other types of bases.
The use of flagstones is made simple by applying a load of sand or gravel to the subsoil and digging the flagstones into the sand or gravel. The niches between the stones can be dug out and filled with top-soil and grass or other cover planted between them. This gives a very pleasing effect.
For many people the end of a year is a time of increased stress. Instead of relaxing and unwinding from a busy year, the pressures of buying gifts, travelling or spending time with long lost relatives makes it a difficult time.
In our household for example, my 4 year-old daughter’s excitement levels have been taken to new highs by performing in front of 800 people as a ‘teddy bear’ in her first ever ballet concert.
Loaded on top of this was her Kindergarten show, this time performing the role of an ‘angel’ in a Nativity Play, and counting down the days to our four-week trip to Tasmania.
Just yesterday, she woke at 5.15 am and started packing her bags to go. I smiled when she told me she had packed 8 videos for the trip!
Now I’m really looking forward to our holiday and spending time at Freycinet Lodge on the Island’s east-coast, feeling the crunch of pristine white sand under my feet at Wineglass Bay, watching the sun set over the pink granite outcrops of ‘The Hazards’ and tasting the fresh salty tang of locally grown pacific oysters.
Civil War Uniforms: Create Your Slouch Hat for 90% Off Retail!
by: Paula McCoach
You are probably thinking that making your own Civil War Uniforms Slouch hat for almost nothing is impossible.
But, you are wrong. It is very possible. And easy.
1. Frequent flea markets, thrift stores, antique shops, yard sales and look for a felt hat. They are great places to find a hat that someone wants to get rid of - and for a cheap price! I found an unbelievable slouch hat at our local church thrift shop for about 25 cents.
2. If it is good quality felt, wet it and brush it down with a hairbrush to get the shape you want.
3. Stuff it with old towels to get it to a neutral shape.
4. Let it sit for a day or two and take the towels out and decide what type of shape you want to make it.
5. Look at original photos and decide which hat you want to duplicate.
6. Put a band on it or a hat cord. You may need to remove the modern band and put a band on made from a natural material like silk - not synthetic.
the disease of extremism is infectious-; whoever cannot think of their child growing up without it is part of the phenomenon! (the choice of the day). fanaticism,– with a powerful ideology are seeds for suicide! murder: giving reasons to rage!… ask: leninist che hitler bin laden they will show you to a noble act of death!… (that is what they say). throw out: poverty, the disadvantaged- save the ideology, that is the infected, the choice!?

Notes by Rosa Peñaloza: the author has not written to be political, rather psychological as his mind works-both in poetry and perhaps with all his writings. He writes as he sees things, be it close up, or from a distance. And he sees evidently terrorism more in an ideological frame than others do. Right or wrong, he looks at the character, the soul of the phenomenon. When he wrote the book, "Islam, In search of Satan’s Rib," many thought of the book being anti this and that. When in essence, he was looking at the God’s you might say; again, not political, per se, rather, psychological, if not theological, and not trying to persuade anyone to any certain religion. He received a letter of thanks from Arial Sharon, and a picture signed by him, as a compliment. This poem seems to reflect some of that old message he tried to write in the book.
